Its participants are 24 inhabitants of Riga: artists, photographers, musicians, writers. <\/p>\n<p><b>A VERY LIMITED AMOUNT OF TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE TO THE OPENING EVENT \u2013 BALCONY SEATS ONLY. TICKET PRICE \u2013 7\u20ac <\/b><\/p>\n<div class=\"short_btn16_app\"><a href=\"https:\/\/shop.piletilevi.ee\/public\/?concert=220373&#038;design=bilesuserviss&#038;lang=eng&#038;center=126&#038;shop_provider=rigaiff#view=ticketsselect\">PURCHASE TICKET<\/a><\/div>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">*Doors open at 7PM to a gathering Splendid Palace Versailles Hall<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p>The cinematic story about the contemporary Riga initiated and conducted by two directors of <strong>Echo Park Film Center<\/strong> \u2013 <strong>Paolo Davanzo<\/strong> and <strong>Lisa Marr<\/strong> \u2013 is being elaborated by <strong>Agnese Krivade, Aigars Bik\u0161e, Anda L\u0101ce, Ansis Starks, Atis J\u0101kobsons, Evel\u012bna Ozola, Gun\u0101rs Binde, Ieva Epnere, J\u0101nis Putni\u0146\u0161, Karl\u012bna V\u012btoli\u0146a, Katr\u012bna Neiburga, Kristi\u0101ns Brekte, Kri\u0161s Salmanis, Maija Kur\u0161eva, M\u0101rti\u0146\u0161 Grauds, Mi\u0137elis Ba\u0161tiks, Mi\u0137elis Putni\u0146\u0161, Pauls Bankovskis, MAREUNROL&#8217;S, Sergejs Timofejevs, Odrija Fi\u0161ere, Signe Birkova, Viesturs Meik\u0161\u0101ns<\/strong> and <strong>Andris Freibergs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The representatives of various art disciplines will learn the 16mm filmmaking technique and each of them will immortalize their Riga city-portrait in the course of a day and night as one minute on film. These segments will later be assembled into a 24-minute black-and-white short film \u2013 an emotional journey through the city, musically enlivened by the composer <strong>Platons Buravickis<\/strong>. The premiere at the RIGA IFF Opening Night will also be a concert as the music composed for this occasion will be interpreted live \u2013 simultaneously with the images on screen.<\/p>\n<p>The Echo Park Film Center has already produced similar projects in <strong>Tokyo, Rotterdam, London, Seoul, Berlin, Mexico City, Vancouver<\/strong> and elsewhere, each time discovering something new about the city in its diversity as well as about the film art\u2019s poetic potential that becomes available within this project not only to cinematographers but also to the representatives of other fields of art.
