ARTDOCFEST/RIGA round table: “Russian film and film about Russia. What’s the difference?”

Isskustvo kino (Film Art – kinoart.ru) magazine’s round tables have become an integral part of ARTDOCFEST/RIGA. Its perennial leader, Daniil Dondurey, with his talent for philosophy and analysis, endowed the current issues of documentary cinematography with extensive conclusions and global notions. This roundtable in Riga will be the first in the recent history of Isskustvo kino magazine to take place without Dondurey. The theme “Russian film and film about Russia. What’s the difference?” will be discussed by cinematographers from several countries. Moderator: the deputy editor in chief Zara Abdullaeva.
