KIDS WEEKEND PLAYGROUND/BRUNCH

Let’s celebrate the first weekend of the festival – September 9 and September 10 – together with the family members!

The programme of films and events KIDS WEEKEND will offer unseen films, full of adventures, from various European countries.

A very special place is allocated for the animation! The animation film “Pigtail and Mr.Sleeplessness (studio Atom Art) will be premiered, and its authors – director Edmunds Jansons and producer Sabīne Andersone are guest curators of the festival as well! They will present an animation programme for preschoolers.

It wouldn’t be nice to indulge in films on empty stomachs, so there will be delicious waffles and non-alcoholic punch served by Mākonis, the friends of the festival, in the front yard of the cinema! The kids are welcome to enjoy their time before the screenings in a special area, called “School for little experts” (Hemma and Danonki Mazo ekspertu skola). The games will be provided by the wonderful Brain Games!
